Kiss the Allergies Goodbye - Literally!
A recent Japanese study has found kissing may reduce allergic reactions and fight infection. It may even cure hay fever as well. During the study, researcher measured blood levels of immunoglobulin E (IgE), which is an antibody that can start an allergic reaction. More below:

The researchers checked people with pollen, dust mite and latex allergies before and after the participants kissed someone for 30 minutes while listening to soft music. At the end of the kissing session, the participants levels of IgE had dropped a whopping 40 percent! Researchers repeated the experiment but only allowed the couples to cuddle for a half hour; not kiss. After the cuddling session, there was no response at all. Researchers think that kissing dramatically reduces allergic responses by increasing the production of Th1 cytokines, which are white blood cells that have been shown to stop the production of IgE.

Kissing may help allergies, that is, unless you have a food allergy to the food your partner has just eaten. This can potentially bring on a serious allergic reaction. So, if you are allergic to peanuts and your honey just ate a handful, lay off the smooching for a while. Otherwise, go nuts and kiss, kiss, kiss your man!
